Item Setting Description
AF Mode xSingle / Monitor / Cont Selects the focus operation mode (page 48).
Digital Zoom xSmart / Precision / Off Selects the digital zoom mode (page 26).
Date/Time Day & Time / Date / xOff Selects whether to superimpose the date or time onto the image (page 30).
The date and time are not inserted in movie or Multi Burst mode. Also, the date and time appear
only during playback, and do not appear during recording.
Red Eye Reduction On / xOff Reduces the red-eye phenomenon when using a flash (page 29).
AF Illuminator xAuto / Off Selects whether to emit an AF assist light in the dark. Helps when it is hard to focus on the subject
under dark lighting (page 30).
Auto Review On / xOff Selects whether to automatically display the recorded image on the LCD screen immediately
after shooting a still image. When set to [On], the recorded image is displayed for approximately
two seconds. You cannot shoot the next image during this period.
Item Setting Description
Format OK / Cancel Formats the “Memory Stick Duo.” Note that formatting erases all data on a “Memory Stick
Duo,” including even protected images (page 41).
Create REC. Folder OK / Cancel Creates a folder for recording images (page 45).
Change REC. Folder OK / Cancel Changes a folder for recording images (page 46).
