TV/VIDEO

Cycles through the video equipment connected to the TV’s
video inputs: TV, VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2, VIDEO 3, VIDEO 4.

Changes between the VHF/UHF input to the AUX input.

0 – 9 and ENTER Press 0 - 9 to select a channel, the channel changes after 2

seconds. Press ENTER to select immediately.

SWAP

Switches the position of the main picture with the window
picture.

Turns on/off PIP. For details, see “Using Picture in Picture
(PIP)” on page 31

GUIDE

Displays the program guide of your satellite antenna.

CH +/-

Scan through channels.

ws

RESET

Press when in a menu to reset the settings to the factory
defaults.

wd

Use to switch control for connected video equipment. You
can program one video source for each switch position. For
details, see “Programming the Remote Control” on page 52.

TV/VCR

Switch between TV and VCR mode. If you have a
non-Sony VCR, you will need to program the remote
control to recognize your VCR. For details, see
“Programming the Remote Control” on page 52.

Displays the DVD’s menu.

TITLE

Displays the DVD’s Title menu.

AUDIO

Alternates sound between the main picture and the
window picture.

POSITION

Moves the location of the PIP window picture.

MTS/SAP

Cycles through the Multi-channel TV Sound (MTS) options:
Stereo, Auto-SAP, Mono.

FREEZE

Freezes the window picture. Press again to restore the
picture.

CH +/–

Changes the channel in the PIP window picture.

TV/VIDEO

The PIP window picture, cycles through the video equipment
connected to your TV’s video inputs: TV, VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2, VIDEO
3, VIDEO 4. This allows you to select different sources for the
PIP display.
