Setting Up the Channel List
After you finish connecting your TV, you need to run Auto Setup, which
automatically set up available analog and digital channels. The Auto
Program screen appears when you turn on your TV for the first time after
hooking it up. If you do not want to set up the channels at this time, you can
do it later by selecting the Auto Program option in the Channel Menu (see
page 103).
The Auto Setup feature does not apply for installations that use
a cable box for all channel selection.
Using Auto Setup
To run Auto Setup the first time you turn on your TV

POWER
to turn on the TV.
The Initial Setup screen appears.

to select the on-screen display language. Then press
ENTER
.
The message “Start auto program now?” appears.

to select “Yes”, then press
ENTER
.
Auto Setup automatically creates a list of receivable channels. When
finished, the lowest numbered channel is displayed.
To run Auto Setup again at a later time

Use the Auto Program feature as described on page 103.
To add individual digital channels

Use the Digital Channel feature as described on page 70.
Auto Program may take up to 30 minutes to complete. A progress
bar is displayed while the channel list is being created.
