Installing QuickTime
®

QuickTime 4 allows you to view QuickTime movies and is necessary
for PictureGear Lite to convert QuickTime movies for use on your
CLIÉ handheld.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s
CD-ROM drive.
The installation launcher window is displayed.

Click Install CLIÉ Utilities.
The CLIÉ utilities window is displayed.

Click Install CLIÉ Image Software.
The Image Software installation window is displayed.

Click Install QuickTime.
The QuickTime 4 software installation starts.
Follow the instructions onscreen to finish installation.
Installing DirectX
®
6
DirectX 6, a set of graphics and sound drivers, is necessary for
PictureGear Lite to function properly. If you already have DirectX 6.0
or later installed, you do not need to install DirectX 6.
Installation is necessary when you use the computer with the
Windows 98 installed.
