• Check that the input source is correctly

selected.

• Check that all the cables and cords of the

system and the connected equipment are
fully inserted.

• Check the HDMI setting of the connected

equipment.

• When you play content compatible with

copyright protection technology (HDCP), it
is not output from subwoofer.

No sound is output from specific speakers.

• Check that the connectors of the speaker

cord are fully inserted into the jacks.

Sound is interrupted or there is noise.

• Check “Formats supported by this system”

(page 44).

Left and right sound levels fluctuate.

• The “Position Control” feature is working.

In this case, set the Position Control function
of the TV to off.

It takes time until the sound is output from the
system after it is turned on.

• In the following cases, it may take time until

sound is output from the system after it is
turned on:

– When any of the equipment connected to

the system via the HDMI connection are
not compatible with the Control for
HDMI function.

– When the Control for HDMI function is

set to off on any of the connected
equipment.

In these cases, use the system after setting
the Control for HDMI function to on all the
connected equipment, or setting the Control
for HDMI function to off on all the
equipment, including the system itself.

Wireless sound

Wireless transmission is not activated or there
is no sound from the subwoofer.

• Check the status of the LINK/STANDBY

indicator on the subwoofer.
Turns off:

– Check that the AC power cord (mains

lead) of the subwoofer is connected
securely.

– Turn the subwoofer on by pressing ?/1

on the subwoofer.

• Flashes in green quickly:

– 1 Press ?/1 on the subwoofer. 2 Insert

the wireless transceiver into the
subwoofer correctly. 3 Press ?/1 on
the subwoofer.

• Flashes in red:

– Press ?/1 to turn off the subwoofer, and

check the following items. 1 Is anything
blocking the ventilation holes of the
subwoofer?

• Flashes in green or amber slowly or turns

red:

– Make sure that the wireless transceiver is

inserted correctly into the receiver.

– Make the Secure Link setting “SECURE

ON” again (page 39).

– Sound transmission is poor. Move the

subwoofer so that the LINK/STANDBY
indicator turns green or amber.

– Move the receiver or the subwoofer away

from other wireless devices.

– Avoid using any other wireless devices.

Noise is heard from the subwoofer or sound
from the subwoofer skips.

• Wireless transmission is unstable. Change

the “RF CHANNEL” setting. For details,
refer to “Setting the frequency for the
wireless system (RF CHANNEL)”
(page 39)

No image appears on the TV.

• Check that the TV and the system are

connected correctly.

• Check that the TV is selected correctly.
• Press the input buttons to change the input

source.

• Set the TV to the appropriate input mode.
• Check whether HDMI IN and HDMI OUT

are connected in reverse.

• Check that the cords are fully inserted into

the jacks on both the equipment and this
system (pages 16, 18).
