VGN-AX Series TV Tuner
Replacement Instructions

Step 4. Locate the TV Tuner Bay.
Rotate the computer with the TV
Tuner Bay facing you as shown in
the picture.
Step 5. Unlock the Latch.
Use your thumb or finger and gently
press the latch in to release the
pressure.
Step 6. To initiate the removal of
the TV Tuner Bay, pull slightly the
latch as shown.
Step 7. Pull the TV Tuner Bay away
from the computer as shown. Some
force may be required to disconnect
it. Step 8. Remove completely the TV
Tuner Bay. Step 9. Install New TV Tuner Bay.
Hold the new TV Tuner Bay by the
edges and align it with the opening.
Step 10. With an even force slide in
the new TV Tuner Bay. Step 11. Make sure the new TV
Tuner Bay is seating flush on the
edge of the computer. Step 12. Lock the Latch.
Return the old TV Tuner Bay to
Sony following the included shipping
instructions.
