Parental Controls Troubleshooting
This screen provides a brief description of how to use Parental Controls. Use CHAN UP/
DOWN to see all of the text on the screen. (For details on Parental Controls, see page 53.)
Phone Troubleshooting
This screen provides tips to help you troubleshoot problems with your phone connection.
Use CHAN UP/DOWN to see all of the text on the screen.
Channel Troubleshooting
This screen provides tips to help you troubleshoot channel changing problems if you are
using a satellite or cable box.
• The tips at the top of the screen are for set-top boxes that attach to the recorder through
a serial connection.
• You may have to use CHAN UP/DOWN to see the second set of tips, which deal with
cable box or satellite receiver using an IR (infrared) connector to the recorder. You can
also find tips in Chapter 6 and additional troubleshooting at www.tivo.com/support.
