Before using the vacuum cleaner, please observe these basic precautions.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fi re, electric shock, or injury

• This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infi rm person without supervision; young children should be supervised to ensure that

they do not play with the appliance.

• Do not use the appliance if the mains lead or plug is damaged or faulty.
• This appliance is provided with a mains lead and if this becomes damaged, it must be repaired by an Authorized Service Centre or a qualifi ed

person in order to avoid any hazard.

• Unplug from the socket outlet when not in use and before cleaning the appliance or undertaking maintenance operations.
• Turn off the appliance before removing the plug. Do not pull on the mains lead, always pull on the plug body itself.
• Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
• Do not use wet fi lters after wash, make sure they are completely dry to avoid damaging the cleaner.
• Do not vacuum fl ammable or combustible substances, neither use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not vacuum hot ash, embers or large and sharp objects.
• Do not vacuum water or other liquids.
• Keep the vacuum cleaner away from heat sources such as radiators, fi res, direct sunlight, etc.
• This vacuum cleaner is fi tted with a thermal cut-out device which automatically turns off the cleaner to prevent overheating of the motor. When

this happens, disconnect the cleaner from the socket outlet and check the dust compartment and fi lters as they may be full or clogged with fi ne
dust. Check for any other obstructions in the hose or tube. After removing the obstruction, leave the cleaner to cool down until the thermal cut-
out resets after approximately 60 minutes.

Pull out the mains lead and put the plug into the socket
outlet.

NOTE: This product is provided Auto Filter Refreshing

System which works by pulling out the mains lead.
The more the mains lead is pulled, the more this
system works well. So before starting cleaning, it
is advisable to pull out the total length of the mains
lead.

Insert the connection pipe into the hose inlet and turn the
pipe to the right.

Insert the curved wand into the upper end of the telescopic
wand, and the fl oor nozzle to the other end. (Only MC-
CL673, MC-CL671)

Insert the curved wand into the upper end of the telescopic
wand. Twist the telescopic wand so that the round hole will fi t
into the tab on the curved wand. (When removing the hose,
push the tab down while pulling out the telescopic wand)

Attach the Turbine Nozzle to the other end. (Removal as per
reverse procedure) (Only MC-CL676, MC-CL675)

Hold the grip and extension adjuster and extend telescopic
wand to the required length.

Cord rewind button (K)

After correct setting the dust compartment and the dust
compartment handle, pull out the total length of the mains
lead and plug into the socket outlet. To rewind the cord,
press the button.

IMPORTANT: In case it is impossible or not smooth to

pull the mains lead, separate the dust
compartment from the main body, then empty
the dust compartment.

NOTE: To pull out the mains lead smoothly, we suggest the

appliance is switched off. To secure the main fi lter
rotation, it is advisable to pull out the mains lead
pushing down the dust compartment handle. Please
hold the plug to prevent it striking you or the product.

ON/OFF Switch button / Variable power control (J)

To start or stop the cleaner, press the button.

To increase or reduce the power, turn the same button.

Manual suction control

The curved pipe of the hose is attached with a manual
suction control, which allows you to briefl y reduce the suction
level.

The curved wand of the hose is attached with a manual
suction regulator, which allows you to briefl y reduce the
suction level.

After you fi nish vacuuming, remove the plug from the
socket outlet and press the cord rewind button.

When rewinding the power cord, press the cord rewind
button by holding the plug so that it does not become
damaged.
NOTE: In case it is impossible to rewind the mains lead,

separate dust compartment from the main body, then
re-press the cord rewind button.

Storage position

Slide the wand holder attached to nozzle pipe straight into
the wand supporter on the under side of the main body.

Park position

For short breaks during vacuuming, slide the wand holder
attached to the nozzle pipe into the wand supporter on the
rear side of main body.

NOTE: When you use park position, we suggest the

appliance is switched off.
