Making calls

Using the base unit

1

Dial the phone number.
R To correct a digit, press MCLEARN.

Lift the corded handset.

When you finish talking, place the corded
handset on the cradle.

Note:
R You can also dial the phone number after lifting

the corded handset.

Using the speakerphone

1

During a conversation on the corded handset,
press MSP-PHONEN to turn on the
speakerphone.
R You can place the corded handset on the

cradle.

R Speak into the base unit microphone.
R Speak alternately with the other party.

When you finish talking, press MSP-PHONEN.

Note:
R For best performance, use the speakerphone in

a quiet environment.

R To switch to the receiver, lift the corded handset.

Making a call using the redial list
The last 10 phone numbers dialed are stored in
the redial list (each 48 digits max.).

Using the handset

the handset on the charger.

Using the speakerphone

Dial the phone number and press M N.
R Speak alternately with the other party.

When you finish talking, press MOFFN.

R To switch back to the receiver, press

M N/M

Making a call using the redial list
The last 5 phone numbers dialed are stored in the
redial list (each 48 digits max.).

R If there is a new message in the voice mail

or answering system, MREDIALN is not
displayed.

Adjusting the receiver or speaker
volume

Base unit

Press MDN or MCN repeatedly while talking.

Handset

Press MjN or MkN repeatedly while talking.

Note for handset:
R There are 5 volume levels (1 to 5) for the

receiver. When you change the receiver volume
to level 5 (maximum level), the volume returns
to level 4 (default) after you hang up.
