Apple TV Status Light
Apple TV has a status light on the front that indicates what’s happening.
If Apple TV is The status light
On Is solid white
Off or in standby Is off
Starting up Blinks amber
Accepting a command from the remote Flashes white once
Rejecting a command from the remote
(you’ve paired a remote with Apple TV but
you’re using a remote that’s not paired) Flashes amber once
Having problems, refer to “Obtaining
warranty service” on page 45 Alternates between white and amber
