Here are the most impor tant things to keep in mind:

1. Sit squarely in the chair, as far back as possible.

2. Change position frequently, so that the muscles don’t

become cramped (dynamic posture).

3. Aim for an angle of at least 90˚ at knees, hips and elbows.

Where possible, tilt the seat forwards when working in

a forward leaning position.

4. Take advantage of the support that the chair can provide.

Altering working posture and moving about at the desk will

increase the feeling of well-being and improve motivation.

Static posture should make way for dynamic posture!

Exercising at your desk can also help you.

The individual adjustments are explained step by step in the

following instructions.

Please open out the fold-over back-page.

We want you to utilise all the benefits of your new chair for

the sake of your health.

Sitting amounts to arduous physical work for the body and

above all puts extreme strain on the intervertebral discs

and muscles. With your new Dauphin chair you now have the

chance to relax at your desk and achieve a greater sense

of well-being.

The idea is to „sit in the chair, rather than on it”.
