Before using the liquidiser for the first time,
carefully wash and rinse the pusher (A), the
lid (C), the filter (F), the filter support (G) and
the pulp container (J). To do this, take the
liquidiser apart as follows:
1. The appliance must be unplugged from

the mains and the switch turned to 0.

2. Remove the pusher (A) from the lid.
3. Take hold of the bottom part of the

safety closures (D) and pull them
sideways until you see that they have
come out of the clips on the lid (C) (Fig
1). Lift up the lid (C) and take out the
filter (F) and the filter support (G), pulling
them upwards (Fig 2). To remove the
pulp container (J), pull it to one side.

To assemble the liquidiser again, proceed in
reverse order.

Assembling the lid:
To assemble the lid, firstly insert the tabs on
the safety closures (D) in the lid, then push
the safety closures (D) towards the liquidiser
until you hear a click (Fig 3). IMPORTANT:
Make user both safety closures (D) have
closed properly.
Important: The appliance has a safety
device to block the functioning of the
appliance if the lid is not properly closed.
Do not use this device as an On/Off
switch.

3. BEFORE USING

With the juice extractor fully assembled

and the switch set to 0, plug the appliance
into the mains socket and set the switch
to 1 or P.

Select the fruit and/or vegetables you

wish to process, peel (in the case of citrus
fruit, watermelons, pineapples, kiwi fruit,
etc.), chop and remove any stones (in
the case of cherries, apricots, peaches,
plums, etc.) before tipping them into the
feeder opening.

Use the pusher to gently push the fruit

and/or vegetables down into the machine
(fig. 9).

Never use your fingers to push food

into the blender.

When you have finished working, set the

switch to zero and unplug the appliance
from the mains socket.

If you need to remove the lid between

uses, switch the appliance off by
setting the switch to 0.

Warning: check that the switch is set to 0

when the appliance is not in use.

5. CLEANING

Switch off the appliance by turning the

switch to 0 and wait for the motor to
stop turning.

Unplug the appliance from the mains

socket.

Disassemble the juice extractor (see

section entitled "Before Using").

Clean the deposit immediately after use

to prevent the peel/pulp from drying.
Wash components with warm soapy
water, using a brush to help clean the
filter.

Do not wash any of the components in

the dishwasher.

Do not use bleach when cleaning the

filter.

Never submerge the main body (H) in

water or hold under a running tap. Clean
by wiping with a damp cloth.

Keep these instructions in a safe place

for future reference.

• This appliance should not be used

by physically, sensorially or mentally
handicapped people or people without
experience or knowledge of it (including
children), unless they are supervised or
instructed in the use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.

• Children should be watched to ensure

they do not play with the appliance.

• For greater protection, we recommend

installing a residual current device (RCD)
with an operational residual current not
exceeding 30 mA. Ask your installer for
advice.
