Interference suppression: this appliance

compatibility) directives.

• This appliance should not be used

by physically, sensorially or mentally
handicapped people or people without
experience or knowledge of it (including
children), unless they are supervised or
instructed in the use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.

• Children should be watched to ensure

they do not play with the appliance.

• For greater protection, we recommend

installing a residual current device
(RCD) with an operational residual
current not exceeding 30 mA. Ask your
installer for advice.

• Do not charge the battery at

temperatures lower than 0ºC or higher
than 40ºC.

• This appliance must not be placed

underwater.

Before using the hair cutter, you should

become familiar with its different parts
and accessories by studying the figures
carefully.

• Before using it for the first time, check

that the mains voltage coincides with
the voltage indicated on the adapter.

• Do not use the hair cutter on wet

surfaces, near a bath or shower or over
a washbasin with water in it.

• Keep this appliance out of the reach of

children.

• Disconnect the appliance before

carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance operations.

• This appliance is designed for domestic

use only and must be used as
described in this manual.

• Regularly check the state of the cord.

If it is damaged, contact an authorised
technical service.

• If you are using the appliance without

the comb, do no not press it against
your skin as it could cause cuts.

• Do not expose the appliance to direct

sunlight.

3. CHARGING THE BATTERY

Check that the appliance is clean,

lubricated and that the battery is
charged.

Put the ON-OFF switch in the OFF

position.

Put the shaver into the charger stand to

charge the battery (8).

Plug in the charger stand (9) to charge

the battery (8). A red light will come on
in the appliance.

Allow the appliance to charge for around

8 hours. Do not exceed this time.

The appliance has an autonomy

of approximately 45 minutes, but
the battery will achieve optimum
performance when it has been charged
and discharged several times.

For optimum battery performance, the

following advice should be followed:

- Always fully charge the battery.
- Do not allow the battery to discharge

fully (when the sound of the motor
starts to decrease)

- Allow to cool for a approximately one

hour between using and charging.
