Optional Paper Bags / Cloth Bags

Disposable paper bags are available for the machine as an option. Use of these bags will,
however, improve the overall performance and life span of the vacuum motor.

A zippered cloth bag is available for the machine if required.

Main Canister

Other than regularly cleaning the main bowl filter, and wiping the interior of the main canister
with a damp cloth, there is no maintenance required on the canister.

Accessories

The machine is equipped with a 5’ vacuum hose with a special connection to attach to the
vacuum dome. The wand end of the hose has a swivel fitting cut at an angle which can be used
as a crevice tool for cleaning in corners. The cuff is designed as a friction fit to the wand. The
standard wand is a 3-piece steel unit finished with a grey epoxy paint for durability. To assemble
the wand, attach the straight sections together by fitting end to end and pushing together. A
tighter fit can be achieved if the wand is given a twist while pressing together. The curved wand
section fits at the top of the straight sections and the wand cuff is then fitted to the curved
section.

The standard floor tool is a low profile, multi-surface tool. This too is a friction fit to the end of
the wand.

Many other accessories such as crevice tools, dusting brushes, pipe cleaning tools etc. are
available for various cleaning tasks.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before operating the machine, check that the main filter is in place. Rotate the dome to the
required position and toggle in place. The vacuum hose is fitted to the dome by inserting it in the
special connector to compress the gasket and rotating one half turn.

Loosen the straps and waistband of the harness assembly before putting the machine on your
back. Pull down on the shoulder straps to raise the machine to a comfortable position. The
waistband can then be attached. The waistband is a cross-over design with a Velcro-type
fastening

When the machine is comfortably fitted on your back, the wand, with floor tool attached, can
then be fitted to the hose.

Turn the vacuum motor on by the main switch on the motor housing.

Note: This machine is fitted with a thermal protection device. If the machine overheats due to
use with a clogged hose or blocked main filters, the machine may stop automatically. If this
occurs, remove the blockage and/or clean the main filter. Also check for blockage on the
exhaust filter by removing the black cover and lifting out the filter material. Once the motor
cools down the machine can be restarted by turning the main switch off then on again. It may
take 10 - 15 minutes for the machine to cool down once it has turned itself off.

It, after the above procedure has been carried out, the machine stops again, the machine should
be checked by a qualified service technician for faults.
