en • Only use the brush to clean the membrane. This should
be done once a week. Only use the soft­bristle portion
of the brush (26).
• Change the water in the tank at least once a week if
water is standing for more than a week.
• To remove the mist outlet (27): Twist the tabs on the
mist outlet to either the right or the left. Align the tabs
and arrow on the mist outlet with the arrows on the
ring around the mist outlet. Pull up on the mist outlet
once the arrows are aligned.
Water quality maintenance
The Ionic Silver Stick (ISS) uses the anti­microbial effect
of silver to prevent the growth of microbes in the water
base. It begins to function as soon as it comes into contact
with water, even if the unit is switched off. The Ionic Silver
Stick should be changed every year. Look at picture 28 for
the position of the ISS in the base part of the unit. Do not
touch the water in the base during operation! Switch off the
unit first. Contact your local retailer or check our website

The Ionic Silver Stick ® comes with a metallic clip which can
be removed for the placement in this product type.
Lifecycle Indicator
Your appliance comes with a lifecycle indicator for changing
the Ionic Silver Stick ® . To remind yourself of when you put
the ISS into operation, please cross the current month on
the stamp and write the current year on the line provided
(29).
