Using Other Die Sets
1. This is the original Hex Crimp
Die set. Note the alignment of
the pockets.
1. These are Diamond Crimp
dies. Note that one side has
2 pockets, and so these must
be matched.
2. Be sure to install the dies
so the pockets are matched.

The Quick Crimp Pneumatic Crimper can be used with all Quick Cable crimping die sets,
including the original Hex Crimp dies (4255D), Diamond Crimp Dies (4252D) and MAX Lug
Dies (4254D It can also be used with Quick Cable specialty die sets: Lead Free Terminal
Dies (420506) and Brazed Seam Flag Connector Dies (420579).
The procedure for using original hex crimp dies, diamond crimp dies and MAX lug dies is
essentially the same. These die sets all have to be installed in the crimper so they match
exactly because there are multiple pockets on some die sides.
