• Certains matériaux de soudage peuvent émettre des vapeurs toxiques. Assurez toujours une
ventilation adéquate. N’utilisez jamais l’appareil dans un espace clos.
• Portez toujours une protection respiratoire de bonne qualité lors de l’utilisation de
cet appareil
• Les émanations de plomb sont toxiques surtout pour les enfants, les femmes enceintes et les
personnes ayant de la tension. Eloignez les personnes à haut risque de la proximité de la zone
de travail
• N’utilisez jamais cet outil à proximité d’un réservoir de carburant ou d’une bonbonne de gaz
• Si vous doutez de la manière sûre et correcte d’utiliser cet appareil, ne l’utilisez pas

Soldering Iron Safety
• Parts of this tool will become hot during use. Do not touch any part of the tool, other than the
handle whilst in use
• Always switch off, and allow to cool fully before handling or attempting to change any fittings. Do
not leave this tool unattended whilst hot
• Heat may be conducted to hidden areas, or materials near to the work area. Ensure that there are
no flammable materials in the vicinity of the work area
• Soldering with certain materials may result in toxic fumes being emitted. Always allow adequate
ventilation. Do not use in confined spaces
• A good quality breathing mask should always be worn when using this tool
• Lead fumes are especially toxic to children, pregnant women and people with high blood pressure.
People at high risk should not be allowed near to the work area
• Never use this tool near any kind of fuel tank or gas cylinder
• If you are at all unsure of the correct and safe manner in which to use this tool, do not attempt
to use it
Operating Instructions
• Check that the Soldering Tip (1) is securely fitted before switching on. The soldering tip should be
pushed into the Heating Element (2) and secured by tightening the Locking Screw (4)
• Do not allow the heating element or soldering tip to rest on any surface that may be damaged
by heat
• To operate, connect to mains power supply and allow to reach operating temperature
• Hold the Soldering Tip (1) against the wire or component to be soldered. Once hot,
add solder to the joint then remove soldering iron
Maintenance
Tip Replacement
WARNING: Always disconnect tool from power supply and allow to cool fully before attempting to
adjust or replace any part.
• Slacken the Locking Screw (4) and withdraw the Soldering Tip (1)
• Push the replacement soldering tip into the Heating Element (2) and retighten the
Locking Screw (4)
Cleaning
• Disconnect from the mains supply before cleaning
• Always clean dust and particles away. Do not allow waste to collect on any part of the tool
Disposal
• Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and electronic equipment, with household
waste
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct way to dispose of tools

Instructions de Fonctionnement
• Vérifiez que la panne (1) soit solidement fixée avant de brancher le fer à souder. Cette panne doit être
enfoncée dans l’élément chauffant (2) et fixée en serrant la vis de blocage (4)
• Ne laissez jamais l’élément chauffant ou la panne reposer sur une surface pouvant être
endommagée par la chaleur
• Pour activer le fer à souder, branchez-le à l’alimentation secteur et laissez-le atteindre la
température de fonctionnement
• Appuyez la panne (1) sur le fil ou l’élément à souder. Lorsque ce dernier est chaud, ajoutez la
soudure au raccord, puis retirez le fer à souder
Entretien
Remplacement de la panne
AVERTISSEMENT : Avant d’entreprendre tout réglage ou remplacement de pièces, débranchez
toujours l’appareil et laissez-le refroidir complètement.
• Desserrez la vis de blocage (4) et enlevez la panne (1)
• Enfoncez la panne de remplacement dans l’élément chauffant (2) et resserrez la vis
de blocage (4)
Nettoyage
• Débranchez le fer à souder de l’alimentation secteur avant de le nettoyer
• Enlevez toujours la poussière ou les particules. Assurez-vous qu’aucun déchet ne s’accumule sur
une quelconque partie de l’outil
Recyclage
• Ne jetez pas les appareils électroportatifs ou autres dispositifs électriques et électroniques avec
les déchets ménagers
• Consultez les autorités locales compétentes en matière de gestion des déchets sur la manière la
plus appropriée de se débarrasser des appareils électriques
