OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

MODEL THT-3 CYCLE TIMER

DESCRIPTION

The GRAYMILLS THT-3 Cycle Timer accessory for the T-Series Liftkleen Parts Cleaners permits the
user to set a desired cleaning cycle time from 0 to 60 minutes. At the end of the cycle time, the THT-3
will stop the platform agitation, lower the work platform to its bottom position and sound an audible
alarm to alert the equipment operator that the preset time has been reached.

Additionally the timer contains remote manual controls for the lift platform, the agitation pump and the
tank heater.

OPERATION

Connect the cycle timer to the required power supply voltage (115V or 230V). See the nameplate for
the correct power supply voltage. Set the desired cleaning cycle time on the timer on the front panel.
Open the cover on the Liftkleen tank. Manually raise the platform using the manual “UP” control on the
front panel.

CAUTION

TO PREVENT POSSIBLE EQUIPMENT DAMAGE

THE LIFTKLEEN TANK COVER MUST ALWAYS

BE OPEN WHEN THE PLATFORM IS RAISED.

Turn on the “POWER” selector switch on the front panel. To start the cleaning cycle, momentarily
press the “DOWN” pushbutton. The platform should lower and begin agitating. The tank cover may
be closed during the cleaning cycle. At the end of the cleaning cycle the agitation will stop and the
platform will lower to its bottom position. The audible alarm will sound for about 5 seconds to indicate
the end of the cycle. Open the tank cover and manually raise the platform using the manual “UP”
control. When a new load is placed on the platform, the cycle will be repeated when the “DOWN”
button is pressed. The cycle may be aborted by turning the timer to “0” position. The platform must
be manually raised if the cycle is aborted.

To override the timer, turn timer to “0” position and press the “UP” button. If timer is not turned off and
the lid and platform are raised, there is a chance that the timer could end its cycle and the platform
would lower, possibly causing fluid to splash.
