4. Important details for usage and maintenance
Levelling of speakers:
The intrinsic speakers are mechanical devices, which need to play some time to develop the full
sound potential. This set-up time can be between 50 and 100 hours, dependent on the music and the
volume. Optimal for this specific levelling is to use a special levelling CD
Maintenance:
Please use exclusively soft and clean microfiber cloth for cleaning which are eventually a bit
moistened. Never use cleaning agent like furniture polish or other cleaning substances. The speaker
(driver/chassis) should be cleaned very carefully with a very soft brush to take away dust. Avoid
touching the sensible parts like the membranes.
- Attention: Due to safety reasons never open the electrical device.
- Don’t carry out any repairs by yourself! Bring the loudspeakers to the
accredited dealer of the SWANS Europe GmbH.
- Don’t put the loudspeakers into direct sunlight
- Don’t erase or change the serial number of the loudspeakers,
otherwise your warranty will directly end.
