Flyback Transformer

The flyback transformer stage is a quasi-resonant current-regulated DC-DC converter capable of delivering the high-
est possible efficiency at a constant current while minimizing line frequency ripple. The auxiliary winding is used for
zero-current detection and overvoltage protection.
