On the brake side of the bike, remove the 3 factory bolts shown by arrows (above), noting the brake side horizon-
tal fairing support bracket will be removed, and not re-installed. Using the supplied fasteners, secure the ampli-
fier to the plate so it is oriented in the same way as the picture above. Put the amplifier/plate assembly in place,
and reinstall the 3 factory screws.
This kit includes a wire harness with a 4 pin blue plug, and a new main plug for your existing 2 channel amp. If
you have your bike setup with a Hogtunes 4 Channel amp, and are adding a Hogtunes 2 channel amp to the sys-
tem, the blue plug will plug into the “bypass out” plug on the 4 channel amp. This is what sends music from the 4
channel amp to the 2 channel amp. The white/black pair of wires on the 4 pin harness will plug into the green/
black wires (brake side input) on the 2 channel amp. The red/black wires on the 4 pin harness will plug into yel-
low/black (clutch side input) on the 2 channel amp. The supplied harness for your 2 channel amp has 4 black
wires that end in two 2 pin plugs which are “heat-shrunk” together. These wires send power from the 2 channel
