DeÞning settings via the SCROLL and SELECT buttons

Its likely that you’ll change these settings much more often than the settings that
you define through the settings menus. The settings can change from picture to
picture depending on the conditions that exist at the time.

You must be in the Capture mode to change these settings.

Setting Flash, Exposure, Picture Type, and Quality

To change the Flash, Exposure, Picture Type, and Quality

Capture mode settings:

and Close-up

settings (DC220 only)

To activate the Self-Timer and Close-up settings:

Press the SCROLL button to scroll through
the first four functions on the Status
display: Flash, Exposure, Picture Type, and
Quality.

When the function you want to change is
flashing, press the SELECT button to
toggle through the choices for the active
function.

The new selection takes affect if you press
the SCROLL button again to move to
another function or if you do not press a
button for 5 seconds.

Press the TIMER button:

once to activate the self-timer

twice to activate the close-up setting

three times to activate both settings

four times to turn both settings off again

On the DC260, activate the self-timer
by pressing the TIMER button.
