Replacing the system fan assembly
Attention:
Do not remove the computer cover or attempt any repair before reading the “Important

1. Remove the computer cover and hard disk drive mounting bracket. See
“Removing the computer cover” on page 5.
2. Remove the front bezel. See “Removing and replacing the front bezel” on
page 8.
3. Disconnect the system fan cable from the system board fan connector. See
“Identifying parts on the system board” on page 4.
