Printer Driver
1.Network FAX will not correctly adopt paper settings (Page Setup dialog box etc.) in some applications, even when specifi ed. If this
problem occurs, try the following.
• First set Network FAX for Windows as the default printer and then create a new document.
• Select the paper size in the Properties dialog box for Network FAX for Windows.
2. If the application uses lightly shaded lines (fi ne dotted lines) this may not be printed correctly. When using dotted lines, specify
heavy shading.
3. To print a document as an image fi le, select the appropriate option, such as [Print as Image], in the application and then print.
Use with Windows 2000
Always log on as administrator when fi rst running the software. Failure to do so will prevent normal start-up.
Use with Windows XP
1.Always log on as administrator when fi rst running the software. Failure to do so will prevent normal start-up.
2.This software does not support Windows XP user switching. To change the user, fi rst log off as the current user, log on again as a
new user, and run the software.
Log on again
as a new user.
Run the software.
Use with Windows XP SP2
In Windows XP ServicePack2 with Advanced Securities (SP2), the security function is improved and Windows Firewall
becomes active in the standard mode, so that some infl uence is exerted upon the communication system based on the “Net-
work FAX”. To receive the direct FAX result, press the [Unblock] button in the Windows Security Alert dialog box.
