Editing document data

Information that can be added

In addition to specifying and checking the recipient in the Route screen, the
following parameters are available in the Comm. Menu screen for adding in-
formation.

The parameters that are available differ depending on the routing method.
The parameters that are available for each routing method are shown below.

The Scan to PC operation can be used if the optional scanner unit or fax
kit is installed.

Specifying a subject

Select an e-mail subject from those specified in advance. The e-mail sub-
jects can be specified in the Scanner Settings screen of Administrator Man-
agement mode.

0 For details on specifying scanner settings, refer to the User’s Guide [Net-

work Scanner Operations].

0 If no subject has been registered, the e-mail message is sent with the

subject line “[ImageFile] <recipient_name> <machine_name>
<number>” automatically specified.

Parameter

Description

Subject

Select an e-mail subject from those specified in advance.

Reply

The e-mail address of this machine appears as the e-mail address of the
sender. To specify an e-mail address other than that of this machine, select
one of the addresses registered as a one-touch dial button.

File Name

Type in the name of the file to be saved to specify it. Up to 16 characters
can be entered.

E-Mail Notification
Address

Select a recipient registered with a one-touch dial button where an e-mail
message is to be sent to inform the recipient that the file has been saved.
