Caution Labels and Indicators

Caution

The area around the fuser unit becomes extremely hot during operation. Do not touch

the area around the fuser unit when removing paper jams or inspecting the inside of

the machine. Doing so may cause burns.

When removing paper jams and replacing toner cartridges, be careful that toner

does not get into your eyes or mouth. If the toner gets in your eyes or mouth,

immediately flush them with clean water and seek medical assistance.

Be careful not to stain your hands or clothes with the toner. If your hands or clothes

get stained, wash them using clean cold water. The stains may become permanent if

washed using warm water.

Do not perform operations that are not described in the instruction manuals.

Ventilation

Caution

Always operate the product in well ventilated areas.

Operating the product in poorly ventilated areas for an extended time period could

pose health risks. Be sure to frequently ventilate the operating area.

Do not let any object obstruct or plug the ventilation holes of this product.

Accumulated heat inside the product could result in a malfunction.
