When Using a Network Connection
The network connection settings can be specified in one of two ways:
AppleTalk Setting and IP Printing Setting.
AppleTalk Setting

Connect the printer to an Ethernet network.

Open Printer Setup Utility, which can be accessed by clicking Macintosh
HD, then Applications, then Utilities.

Click Add in the Printer List.

Select AppleTalk from the pop-up menu.
The AppleTalk screen appears.
