Sending the fax after reconfirming the destination (Destination Check
Display Function)

Destination Check Display Function

After pressing [Start] key on completion of destination specification, the destination list screen is displayed
with the number of destinations. As the fax is sent after reconfirming the destination, misdirected
transmission due to the mistake in the destination can be prevented.

Detail

[Destination Check Display Function] must be set to [ON] to use the Destination Check Display Function
function. For details, refer to "Specifying the ON/OFF settings of the function (Function ON/OFF
Setting)" on page 10-48.

Sending a fax after reconfirming the destination

Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen.

Load the original.

For details on loading originals, refer to "Loading the original" on page 2-6.

If necessary, set [Scan Settings], [Original Settings] and [Communication Settings].

For details on Scan Settings, refer to "Specifying scanning conditions" on page 2-9 or "Scan
Settings" on page 6-2.

For details on Original Settings, refer to "Original Settings" on page 6-3.

For details on Communication Settings, refer to "Communication Settings" on page 6-4.

Specify the destination.

For details on destination, refer to "Specifying only one destination" on page 2-13 and "Specifying
multiple destinations (Sequential broadcast transmission or broadcast transmission)" on page 2-22.

Press [Start] key.

Destination settings screen is displayed.

Confirm that the specified destination is correct and touch [Send] or press [Start] key.

If the fax cannot be sent because the recipient’s line is busy, the recipients number is redialed. For
details on redial, refer to "When unable to send fax" on page 2-31.

To stop the transmission, refer to "Aborting transmission" on page 2-36.

If the fax could not be sent, refer to "Fax cannot be sent" on page 4-2.

The scanned original is stored in the memory as a scheduled job and transmission is started.
