Use a USB cable to connect the machine to your computer.

Open [Printer Setup Utility], which can be accessed by clicking Startup Disk, then [Applications], then
[Utilities].

In the [Printer List], click [Add].
The detected printer appears in the [Printer Browser].

Select [42 Series] in the [Printer Name].
% If the printer name does not appear, check that the machine is turned on and the USB cable is con-
nected, and then restart the computer.

Check that [KONICA MINOLTA bizhub 42 PPD] or [KONICA MINOLTA bizhub 36 PPD] is selected in the
[Print Using] list.
% Check that the PPD having the name same as the one of the desired model is selected.
