Using the base:
During a call:

Press
/ to select volume 1-8.
>The current setting is shown.
>When you end the call, the setting will remain at the last selected
level.
Using the handset:
During a call:

Press
/ to select volume 1-5.
>When you end the call, the setting will remain at the last selected
level.
7.7 Mute a call
You can talk to someone nearby without letting the caller hear you during
a call.
During a call:
t
Press
to mute the microphone and “MUTED” will display on the
screen.
>Your caller cannot hear you.
t
Press
again to unmute the microphone.
7.8 Set the silent mode
t
In idle mode, press and hold # to turn off the handset ringer. The
icon
is displayed on the screen.
t
In silent mode, press and hold # to turn on the handset ringer. The
icon will disappear.
7.9 To turn the handset ringer off
t
In idle mode, press and hold # to turn off the handset ringer.
>The ringer off icon will be displayed.
t
When the ringer is off, press and hold the # key to turn on the handset
ringer.
>The ringer off icon will turn off.
7.10 Turn on the keypad lock
t
In idle mode, press and hold * to turn on the keypad lock.
>The keypad lock icon will be displayed.
