SETTING RESET

You can save your settings even after the power is turned off.

Open the lens barrier and
press the Menu button to
display the screen shown.

Press the top/bottom arrows
on the Jog dial to select

,

and press the right arrow.

Select RESET or HOLD using
the top/bottom arrows on the
Jog dial.

Press the OK button to save
the setting. Press again to
cancel the Menu.
• If the Menu button is pressed

before the OK button, the
setting and Menu mode will be
canceled.

With RESET selected, the settings
of the following items will be
canceled and reset to the default
when the power is turned off.

Flash modes other than Red-Eye
reducing flash (p. 53),
Exposure compensation (p. 63),
Spot metering mode (p. 65),
White balance (p. 69),
ISO (p. 71),
Sharpness (p. 77),
Setting reset (p. 82)

Note:
• Even when HOLD is selected, the settings for Exposure compensation

(p. 63), Spot metering mode (p. 65), White balance (p. 69), ISO
(p. 71) and Sharpness (p. 77) will be canceled and returned to the default
when the batteries are taken out.
