Setting the one-touch white balance

This function is useful when you need a more precise white balance than preset WB can
provide. Point the camera at a white object under the light source you want to use to
determine the white balance. The optimum white balance for the current shooting
conditions can be saved in the camera. Up to 4 settings can be registered as one-touch
WB settings.

Optional electronic flashes

You can take advantage of a variety of flash shooting techniques to suit different shooting
conditions with the flash units specified for use with this camera — the Olympus FL-50,
FL-40, and FL-20 electronic flashes.

Flash mode

:

The camera sets the flash mode according to various factors such as firing pattern and
flash timing. Available flash modes depend on the exposure mode.
You can set the flash mode even when no flash is attached to the camera.

Flash modes available in the exposure mode

* When the flash is set to the Super FP mode, it detects backlight before emitting light.
