The EVOLT E-500’s HyperCrystal LCD is among the largest in its class – a generously-sized 2.5”. It
also packs as many pixels as any LCD display, affording you outstanding color and contrast, with a
full 160-degree viewing angle, from left to right and up and down. This adds up to a greater “degree”
of comfort, whether you’re navigating the menus or enjoying the shots you’ve already taken.
The larger LCD also makes the control panel easier to view – adding size and clarity to the
letters and icons.

Designed with advanced polycarbonates, EVOLT E-500 possesses uncompromising strength
and durability – to stand up to everyday use and even support the 300mm f2.8 Zuiko Digital
Lens. Yet EVOLT E-500 is extremely lightweight – so you’ll find it easy to carry and handle.
Our automatic pop-up flash maintains a “no-profile” until it recognizes the need for added
light. Once engaged, the flash pops up and gives you the opportunity to make adjustments
and select from a range of options – including red-eye reduction.
