Remove the lens cap.

Press the n button to turn on the camera.

Select the shooting mode. (p. 11)

Hold the camera and compose the shot.
When holding the camera, take care not to cover the
fl ash, microphone or other important parts with your
fi ngers, etc.

Press the shutter button halfway down to
focus.
