Playing Files on a USB
Device or Media Server
Forward and reverse scanning
 During playback, press mREV or
n FWD.
y The scanning speed switches each time
the button is pressed. The speed steps
depend on the file (the speed is displayed
on the TV screen).
 To resume normal playback
 Press d PLAY.
Skipping content
 During playback, press o or p.
y When p is pressed, the playback
skips ahead to the beginning of the next
chapter/file.
y When o is pressed while a video or
audio file is playing, the playback skips
back to the beginning of the currently
playing chapter/file. Press twice to skip
back to the beginning of the previous
chapter/file.
y When o is pressed while an image
file is playing, playback returns to the
previous file.
Playing in slow motion
 While playback is paused, press and
hold q/s or t/r.
y The speed switches each time the button
is pressed (the speed is displayed on the
TV screen).
 To resume normal playback
 Press d PLAY.
Step forward and step reverse
 While playback is paused, press q/s
or t/r.
y The picture moves a step forward or
reverse each time the button is pressed.
 To resume normal playback
 Press d PLAY.
Playback functions
The functions that can be used differ according
to the type of file. In some cases, some of the
functions cannot be used. Check the usable
functions on the table below.

1. Some functions may not work for some files, even
if indicated [ 1] on the table.
2. For some files, normal playback resumes
automatically when the chapter switches.
3. No sound is produced during forward and reverse
scanning.
4. Sound is produced during forward and reverse
scanning.
5. No sound is output during slow motion playback.
6. Reverse slow motion playback is not possible.
7. Reverse step playback is not possible.
