Have you disconnected the
power cord while the unit’s
power was on?

y

Has there been a power
failure?

Always press u STANDBY/ON on the unit’s front panel or u STANDBY/
ON

on the remote control, check that POWER OFF has turned off from

the unit’s front panel display and wait for more than 10 seconds before
disconnecting the power cord. Be particularly careful when the power
cord is connected to the AC outlet on another device because the unit
turns off in conjunction with the device.

USB (external storage)
device does not work with
this unit properly.

Is the USB device properly
connected?

Turn the unit’s power off, then turn the power back on.

y

Turn the unit’s power off, then reconnect the external storage device
(page 26).

Is the USB device connected
via an extension cable?

Do not use an extension cable. The unit may not work properly with it.

Is the external storage device
connected to the USB port
terminal via a memory card
reader or USB hub?

External storage device may not work if connected to the USB port
terminal via a memory card reader or USB hub.

Does the external storage
device contain multiple
partitions?

External storage devices may not be recognized if they contain multiple
partitions.

Is the external storage device
write-protected?

Turn the unit’s power off, then disable the write-protection.

Is the external storage device’s
file system FAT16, FAT32 or
NTFS?

Only external storage devices with a FAT16, FAT32 or NTFS file system
can be used.

Some external storage devices may not operate.

Display window is dark.

Press DIMMER on the remote and select the desired display brightness.

“OC ERROR” is displayed
on the unit’s display
window.

Unplug the unit and contact the Pioneer Customer Support Center.

The CONNECT indicator
of the wireless subwoofer
is flashing.
(SBX-N700 only)

Unplug the unit and contact the Pioneer Customer Support Center.
