Using news programme interruption
You can select to enable or disable the News
function.
If the navigation system receives a news
programme broadcasted by a PTY code news
station while the News function is enabled, the
system will switch to the received programme.
* Tap [News].
Each tap of [News] turns it on or off.
Receiving traffic announcements
TA (traffic announcement standby) lets you
receive traffic announcements automatically,
no matter what source you are listening to. TA
can be activated for both a TP station (a
station that broadcasts traffic information) or
another enhanced network’s TP station (a
station carrying information that cross-
references TP stations).
1. Tune into a TP station or another
enhanced network’s TP station.
2. Tap [TA].
Each tap of [TA] turns it on or off.
❒
Only TP stations and other enhanced
networks’ TP stations are tuned in during
seek tuning or BSM when the TA function is
on.
Tuning in strong frequencies
