! There is a five-second countdown (for preparation) before the battle begins (the track from the selected Genre will start playing back).
! When the battle is finished, a voice will playback announcing the completion of the battle (randomly selected from multiple voices).
! A time call announcing the remaining 1 minute and 10 seconds of the battle and another declaring its completion will be played back.

Start a battle in a Battle mode

Set a Battle mode and start a battle.
! By pressing the BATTLE button, the battle will be played back in a Battle mode that was previously played back in the Battle setting screen.

1 With the power turned on, press MENU.

2 Use a/b to select ‘BATTLE’, then press ENTER.

A Battle mode settings screen will be shown in STZ-D10S. Please proceed to step 4.
The following Battle mode selection screen will be shown in STZ-D10T.

3 Select a Battle mode for a playback. (STZ-D10T only)

Select a Battle mode from the following: Normal Battle or Circle Battle.

4 Configure the Battle mode settings.

For Normal Battle mode (STZ-D10T) and Battle mode (STZ-D10S): configure Dance Genre 1 (Genre 1), Dance Genre 2 (Genre 2) Length (Move time),
and Rounds (Number of rounds).
For Circle Battle (STZ-D10T): configure Dance Genre (Genre) and Length (Total battle time).
Please refer to Using the Battle mode on page 23 for more information on each settings.

5 Start a battle playback by selecting ‘Start’.

After a five-second countdown, the battle playback begins.

! To end the battle playback, press the EXIT button. The device will resume to the Stop status for the track that was played back in a function

effective before the Battle mode.

Notes

! STZ-D10Tonly: By pressing p button during circle battle playback, the track can be changed.
! By pressing the TOOLS button and selecting Setting during a playback in the Battle mode, the screen will return to the settings screen for the

Battle mode in step 4.

! When a USB memory device or STEEZ PORTABLE is connected, tracks stored in each device is played back in the Battle Mode. Otherwise, tracks

stored in the internal memory will be played back.
