-Watch Item: CPU-

You can specify the CPU condition to be monitored.

[Watch this item]

check box

Directs the Agent Performance Monitoring Service to monitor CPU
utilization.

[Alert Level] edit box

Specifies the threshold with a number from 0 to 100.

[Write Event Log]

check box

Writes to the event log when CPU utilization exceeds the threshold.

-Watch Item:

Memory-

You can specify the memory condition to be monitored.

[Watch this item]

check box

Directs the Agent Performance Monitoring Service to monitor
memory utilization.

[Alert Level] edit box

Specifies the threshold. The current memory utilization is shown for
your reference.

[Write Event Log]

check box

Writes to the event log when memory utilization exceeds the
threshold.

-Watchdog Interval-

You can specify the Agent Performance Monitoring interval.

[Watchdog Interval]

edit box

Specifies the monitoring interval of the Performance Monitoring
Service. A number from 2 to 3600can be specified.

[Set] button

Submits the specified data to the Agent Performance Monitoring
Service.


Meaning of status icons

Icon Status

The current utilization does not exceed the

threshold.

The current utilization exceeds the threshold.

The service is not monitoring the threshold.



Memo

In case of the following condition, the Performance function writes in an event
log.

[Watch this item] check box in the performance set up screen of CPU

or a Memory is checked.

[Write Event Log] check box is checked.

Each value continues exceeding Alert Level specified in this screen.
