Operating Basics

For some functions, you can tap the Touch Pad instead of pressing a

control button.

Using the optical media drive

The full-size drive provides high-performance execution of

CD/DVD-ROM-based programs. You can run either 12 cm (4.72") or

8 cm (3.15") CD/DVDs without an adaptor. An ATAPI interface controller is

used for CD/DVD-ROM operation. When the computer is accessing a

CD/ DVD-ROM, an indicator on the drive glows.

Click: Tap the Touch Pad once
Double-click: Tap the Touch Pad twice
Drag and drop:
1. Hold down the left control button and move the cursor to drag the item

you want to move.
2. Lift your finger to drop the item where you want it.
Scroll:
Vertical: Move your finger up or down the right edge of the Touch Pad.
Horizontal: Move your finger left or right along the bottom edge of the

Touch Pad.

Use the WinDVD application to view DVD movie discs.
