Using Auto Mode Function
Use this feature to allow easy shooting with the settings adjusted
automatically. Besides, some buttons are disabled to prevent wrong
operation.
1. Set the camera to recording mode and press the AUTO button.
Auto mode is enabled and the Auto mode icon is displayed.

When the Auto mode function is enabled, you have to press the AUTO
button again to return to normal recording mode. Pressing the mode
button cannot return to normal recording mode.

When the Auto mode function is enabled, only the video quality and file
save location that you have set are retained. Other settings are
automatically adjusted.

In Auto mode, only AUTO button, REC button, REC button,
zoom lever, power switch, and mode button are operable. Other
buttons are disabled and a [CANNOT OPERATE IN AUTO MODE]
message will appear when pressed.
„ In Auto mode, the AUTO button, REC button and zoom lever LEDs
are lit (blue).
