You can use this function for writing and sending notes to compatible devices by
IR, Bluetooth, SMS, or MMS.

Synchronization

Synchronization

allows you to save your calendar and contacts data on a remote

Internet server (network service) or on a compatible computer. If you have saved
data on the remote Internet server, you can synchronize your phone by starting
the synchronization from your phone. You can also synchronize the data in your
phone

Contacts

Calendar

, and

Notes

to correspond to the data of your compatible

computer by starting the synchronization from your computer. The contact data
in your SIM card will not be synchronized. Answering an incoming call during
synchronization will end the synchronization and you will need to restart it.

From your phone

Before synchronizing from your phone, you need to subscribe to a synchronization
service and obtain the configuration settings from your service provider. For more
information on availability and the synchronization service settings, contact your
service provider.

To start the synchronization from your phone:

1. Activate the connection settings you need for the synchronization.

See Connection settings on page 67.

Data to be synchron.

3. Mark the data to be synchronized, and select

Done

.

4. Select

The marked data of the active set will be synchronized after confirmation.

If

Contacts

Calendar

is full, a first time synchronization or an interrupted

synchronization may take up to 30 minutes to complete.
