To begin scrolling from an alpha character:
Press first and then enter the first letter(s) or
name and start scrolling the names in alphabetical
order from the entered letter forward by using .

If no name beginning with the entered letter is
found, the message
NAME NOT FOUND will be
briefly displayed, and the phone then displays
the next name in allphabetical order.
To recall information by location number:

Press . The phone prompts you to enter the
location to be recalled ( LOCATION? ).

Enter the desired location number and press
, or start scrolling by using .
• or instead of the steps 1 to 2 above, enter the
location number and then press
.
The phone number stored in the location will be
displayed. To see the associated name, if avail-
able, press
. Use to view other mem-
ory locations in use.

If the selected memory location is empty, the
message
LOCATION EMPTY will be briefly dis-
played, and the phone exits the function if you
pressed .

If you started scrolling without pressing , the
message LOCATION EMPTY will be briefly dis-
played, and the next memory location in use will
then be displayed.

Call the displayed number by pressing .
To begin scrolling from a memory location:
Enter a location number and start scrolling forward
or backward from the entered location number by
using .

If the location you entered is empty, the message
LOCATION EMPTY will be briefly displayed, and
the phone then displays the next memory loca-
tion in use.
