Descriptions of Menu Functions

The following pages explain how the menu func-
tions can be accessed and operated.

Restrict Calls (Menu 1)

This menu function allows you to restrict certain
types of calls. Your four-digit lock code is required
to change the settings of this function.

ALLOW ALL

No restrictions to incoming or out-
going calls.

INCOMING

Incoming calls only, except for calls

ONLY

from the lock-free location (40) and
emergency calls.

MEMORY ONLY Only calls from the phone directory

locations and emergency calls.

To set the call restriction option:

Press

and scroll to the menu function

RESTRICT CALLS by using and press

, or press

as a shortcut access

method.

The phone displays its current restriction level.

Scroll the options and confirm your choice by
pressing .

The phone prompts for your four-digit lock code
(

LOCKCODE?

).

Enter your lock code and press

.

If you made a mistake in entering the lock code,
the message

CODE ERROR

is displayed, and the

phone exits the menu function.

Note: When calls are restricted, calls may be possi-
ble to the emergency number programmed into your
phone (e.g., 911 or another official emergency num-
ber) including calls by one-touch emergency dialing.

Note: No new entries can be stored in the phone di-
rectory locations (e.g., location 40) when the phone
is set to INCOMING ONLY or MEMORY ONLY.
