What is tipping load?
Load at centre of gravity of working
equipment, so that the wheel loader just
begins to tip over the front axle.
This is the most unfavourable static-load
posi tion for the wheel loader.
Lifting arms horizontal, wheel loader
fully articulated at centre pivot.

Pay load.
The pay load must not exceed 50% of the
tipping load when articulated.
This is equivalent to a static stability-margin
factor of 2.0.

Bucket capacity.
The bucket volume is determined from the
pay load.
