refrigerationsystems,andcommunicationsystemsthat,
whenstoppedduringanypoweroutage,couldcause
discomfortorinconvenience.Thisproductdoesnotqualify
foremergencystandbyasdefinedbyNFPA70(NEC).

Manual,especiallythesectionregardingselecting
essentialcircuits.
 • Followaregularscheduleinmaintaining,caringfor
andusingyourhomegenerator,asspecifiedinthe
Operator’sManual.
Installer Responsibilities
 • Readandobservethesafetyrules.
 • InstallonlyanULapprovedtransferswitchesthatis
compatiblewiththehomegenerator.
 • Readandfollowtheinstructionsgiveninthis
InstallationandStart-upManual.
IMPORTANT:Ifoperatingthegeneratorbelow40°F,itis
recommendedthatabatteryandoilwarmerbeinstalled.If
operatingthegeneratorbelow3°F,abatteryandoilwarmer
mustbeinstalled.Bothitemsareavailableatyourlocal
servicingdealer.
Unpacking Precautions
Theunitisshippedboltedtoitsmountingpad,ready
forinstallation.Avoiddamagefromdropping,bumping,
collision,etc.Storeandunpackcartonwiththeproperside
up,asnotedontheshippingcarton.
CAUTION
Installingthe15Afusecouldcausetheengine
tostart.
Observethatthe15Ampfusehasbeenremovedfrom
thecontrolpanelforshipping.
DONOTinstallthisfuseuntilallplumbingandwiringhas
beencompletedandinspected.

Delivery Inspection
Afterremovingthecarton,carefullyinspectthehome
generatorforanydamagethatmayhaveoccurredduring
shipment.
IMPORTANT:Iflossordamageisnotedattimeofdelivery,
havetheperson(s)makingdeliverynotealldamageonthe
freightbillandaffixhissignatureundertheconsignor’s
memooflossordamage.Iflossordamageisnotedafter
delivery,separatethedamagedmaterialsandcontactthe
carrierforclaimprocedures.Missingordamagedpartsare
notwarranted.
