Register handset to a different make of base station
1. To put the base in registration mode, see the base
station user guide.
At the handset:
2. Press and scroll or to Registration and
press .
Display shows Base 1-4 . The numbers that are flashing
indicate other bases the handset is registered to.
3. Enter the base number ( 1-4 ) you want to register the
handset to and press .
4. Enter your base PIN and press .
Display will show Base search 1, 2, 3 and the symbol
will flash. When the handset locates the base, the
handset will be automatically selected and shown on the
display.
5. Press to confirm. The handset is registered.
To see the base station identity number
1. Press then to display Setup and press .
2. Press to scroll to Base Id and press .
The identity number is displayed.
5. Press and hold to return to standby.
Additional handsets & bases
The base must be GAP compatible.
If the handset does not locate the
base, the handset will return to the
previous menu.
Try to register again using a
different base number and ensure
you are close enough the the base.
The base identity number is the
individual code number of the base
station.
