BT Synergy 3205 SMS – Issue 2 – Edition 2 – 16.03.04 – 5980
Select Edit message – if you
decide to change the message.
Select Delete? – if you want to
delete the message.
To write and send a message
1. Press . Press again to select SMS .
2. Press to display New message and press .
3. Press and hold to select either standard or FasTxT.
4. Key in your message, referring to the character map if
necessary. The number of available characters remaining
is shown in the bottom right hand corner of the display.
5. Press to confirm the message. The display shows
Outbox then Send to? .
6. Enter the number you want using the keypad.
Press to delete an incorrect digit.
Or
Press to display Phonebook , then use or to
display the name/number you want.
7. Press to confirm and send the message. The display
shows Sending SMS followed by Message sent .
A copy of the message is kept in the Outbox.
SMS Text Messaging
If you have no unread messages
you can press
as a short cut
to the SMS menu.
To exit and return to idle mode at
any time, press
.
Using FasTxT
When using FasTxT, you will need to
look at the display when composing
messages. If the letter you require
is not displayed, press
to
toggle to the required letter.
