No reaction to the supplied universal
remote control.

Connect the product to the power outlet.
Point the remote control at the product.
Insert the batteries correctly.
Insert new batteries in the universal
remote control.

No video signal on the TV.

Turn the TV on.
Set the TV to the correct external input.
Select the correct video output with the
VIDEO OUTPUT SELECTION
button on the front panel.
Change the resolution of the output to the
TV.
Press-and-hold the

-button on the front

panel for 5 seconds to restore the factory
settings (with no disc in the disc tray).

No high-definition video signal on the TV
via component video.
