4. For each isotope to be added, select an <unused> entry and press E DIT (F4).
5. The Select Isotope screen will appear as shown below. Use the
↑↓
keys to highlight the desired
isotope. Press E NTER to select it and return to the previous screen.
6.7 Select / Edit Detector
SAM 935s ship with an internal or optional external detector that is already set up at the factory. If you want
to review information about the detector, you do so with this utility:
1. Press the U TIL key on the front panel of the SAM 935 and choose Select/Edit Detector from the
Utilities menu:
2. A screen will appear that lists all supported SAM 935 detectors.
3. Use the
↑
and
↓
keys to highlight the detector you will be using and press E NTER .
The SAM 935 depends on a theoretical model of the detector being used. The parameters for this model
are contained in a detectors database. The correct parameters for all supported SAM 935 detectors are
preloaded in the database.
4. Press Edit to see the detector definitions.
